How It Works
How It Works
Enrollments, changes, and cancellations are made through Sterling Administration by the 7th of each month for the fulfillment of their next month’s elections. Payroll deducts the employee elections from their paycheck once a month.
UC Benefit-eligible Employees receive their elected amounts added to Sterling debit card by the 1st of each month.

Through your web browser, please go to: http://www.sterlingadministration.com/, then click on “Login ” (upper right-hand corner)
Enter the following information (both are case sensitive):
You must use this User Name and Password to enroll as an employee of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory:
User Name: Berkeleylab (click "LOGIN" to be prompted for password)
Password: LBNL1931
You will then be prompted to enter your personal information, including your Social Security number and Date of Birth.
Create your personalized Username and Password.
Select either Parking FSA and/or Transit FSA, enter the Election, and contributions. Then, skip the Dependent Information page by hitting continue.
For new Participants, select to receive a Debit Card Box. Finally, submit your form.
A Welcome Letter will arrive via email within 24-48 hours.

When terminating employment
If your account has a balance, move any funds out to a transit pass or Clipper card before your last day to avoid losing access to funds.
