Employees planning to retire on July 1, 2024, can start submitting their retirement elections on April 1. To help understand the process, UC Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) and Fidelity are offering webinars on the retirement process. Experts present topics to help retire confidently, including income planning, Social Security strategies, and navigating the UC retirement process. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend. Please register ahead of time, as space is limited.

The recorded event features recently retired LBNL employees. The discussion focused on envisioning life in retirement, building up a social network, and identifying steps you can take now to make the transition a smooth one. This event will focus on navigating the emotional and social transitions.
