What is a Health Care Facilitator?
The Health Care Facilitator (HFC) helps staff, retirees, survivors, and their eligible family members better understand and obtain the full benefits and services from the UC sponsored health plans. For more information, refer to the Health Care Facilitator Program brochure. Each consultation is always confidential and complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy and security laws. Health Care Facilitators are also required to follow the UC's Group Insurance Regulations.

When needing assistance in understanding the workings of your health plan and your coverage

When seeking information on how the UC plans work with Medicare

RASC Monthly Medicare Support
For the next couple of months, the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) will be hosting weekly virtual office hours on Tuesdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and monthly educational webinars every 4th Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am to provide information on and answer your questions about Medicare.

Medicare Information for Employees 65+ and Dependents
Employees 65 and over who are eligible to enroll in Medicare have the option to postpone enrollment in Medicare part B and D. To learn more:
